The H3N2 influenza swine variant has been confirmed in 16 cases in 3 states in the past month. All cases had prior contact with swine, and there is no evidence of human to human transmission. None were hospitalized or died, and all had typical influenza symptoms. Guidance on prevention and testing can be found here (CDC site)
